(QBĐT) - On the afternoon of September 9, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province held a working session with the delegation of the Lao Front for National Construction Committee of Champasak province (Laos), led by Comrade Vatsanha Silima, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Lao Front for National Construction Committee of Champasak province.
Chairing the working session with the delegation, on the side of Quang Binh province, there was comrade Pham Thi Han, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.

At the meeting, the two sides informed each other about the socio- economic situation, national defense and security, outstanding results of the activities of the Fronts of the two provinces in recent times, especially ethnic and religious affairs and the work of mobilizing resources to implement activities. Accordingly, the Fronts at all levels and member organizations of Quang Binh province have promoted the spirit of great solidarity, comprehensively and effectively implemented the proposed action programs along with arising and unexpected tasks...
Through practical activities, the Front at all levels and its member organizations are always close, closely follow, and grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members, association members, and people to gather, propose, and recommend to relevant agencies to promptly resolve issues related to the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people.

The role and position of the Front are increasingly evident, truly acting as a bridge between the Party, the government and the people in the province. Promoting the spirit of creativity and self-management of the people, implementing patriotic emulation campaigns and movements are carried out by the Front with focus and key points and achieving specific and practical results.
In recent times, the Lao Front Committee for National Construction in Champasak Province has focused on implementing its role and task of gathering solidarity among all people in Champasak Province,educating and mobilizing people to organize the implementation of the Resolution of the 8th Conference of the Provincial Party Committee, the 7th Plenary Conference of the Lao Front for National Construction in Champasak Province and organizing the implementation of the province's socio-economic development plan.

Within the framework of the working visit to Quang Binh by the delegation of the Lao Front for National Construction of Champasak province, previously, the delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Binh province and the Lao Front for National Construction of Champasak province held an incense offering and flower offering ceremony at the Temple of Uncle Ho and the Provincial Heroes and Martyrs (Dong Hoi City).
