(Chinhphu.vn) - The Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front has just allocated 131 billion VND to support Nghe An, Dien Bien, and Son La provinces to overcome the consequences caused by floods.

Implementing the direction of the Party and Government leaders and the opinion of the Prime Minister at the working session with Dien Bien Province on August 3, 2025, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front directed the Central Relief Mobilization Committee to provide financial support to the people of Nghe An , Dien Bien and Son La provinces to overcome the consequences caused by floods.

Accordingly, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front allocated 65 billion VND to support Nghe An province and Dien Bien province.   amount   20 billion VND, Son La province 46 billion VND.

Total support budget is 131   billion VND. This amount will support households whose houses have collapsed, completely collapsed, or urgently relocated, 100 million VND each; severely damaged houses, 30 million VND each.

Regarding the implementation method, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front supports through the Ministry of National Defense to organize forces to renovate and repair houses for people in Dien Bien and Son La provinces.
