- On April 25, the Departmentof Education and Training of Van Quan district organized a STEM Festival for teachers, preschool children and parents at the district level for the 2024-2025 school year with the theme "Creating together and conquering challenges".

The festival was attended by more than 200 teachers, students and parents representing 20 preschools in the district.

At the festival, the teams participated in 2 practical competitions including: STEM journey - Creating together; Robot programming - Conquering challenges.

The Organizing Committee presented souvenir flags to the units participating in the festival.

For the STEM journey competition - Creating together, teams of parents, students, and teachers will design STEM products from simple materials such as beer cans, plastic waste, cardboard, bamboo, etc., thereby demonstrating ingenuity, aesthetic thinking, and teamwork ability.

According to the Organizing Committee, the teams have prepared carefully from ideas to materials. The smooth coordination between parents, teachers and students has created a vibrant, useful and interesting festival.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 thematic prizes, 12 consolation prizes, 5 third prizes, 2 second prizes and 1 first prize to Khanh Khe Commune Kindergarten.

Through the festival, we aim to raise awareness and create a breakthrough in innovation in teaching methods for teachers, at the same time, create a useful playground, arouse passion, interest in learning, experience, express creative ideas, and familiarize children with educational activities through STEM models and products. Thereby, contributing to improving the quality of teaching and learning, organizing STEM educational activities at preschools in the area; the STEM festival is also an opportunity for parents and students to participate together, better understand modern educational methods and accompany the development of children.
