U.23 Vietnam received huge bonus
The Vietnam U.23 team played a great match, the best match since the beginning of the tournament, to defeat the host team U.23 Indonesia 1-0 to be crowned the champion of the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 Championship, marking a series of historical milestones.
In addition to a few Vietnamese fans who are overseas Vietnamese and international students currently in Jakarta, the "fire pan" of Gelora Bung Karno Stadium also welcomed a special guest, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan.
Immediately after the match, Mr. Tuan stepped onto the field to join officials from the host country Indonesia and AFF to present individual and team awards at the 2025 Southeast Asian U.23 tournament.

Next, Mr. Tuan congratulated and announced a bonus of 1 billion VND to the entire U.23 Vietnam team after 4 consecutive wins, defeating the host country U.23 Indonesia to win the championship, setting a record of 3 consecutive times winning the highest level youth tournament in Southeast Asia.
Collective success
Previously, VFF had twice awarded the Vietnam U.23 team, including 500 million VND for passing the group stage and 500 million VND for the victory over the Philippines U.23 in the semi-finals.
In total, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team received a bonus of 2 billion VND from VFF.

Also, with the introduction of Le Van Ha into the final match, the U.23 Vietnam team has used almost all, 20/23 players in this year's tournament (except Duc Anh and 2 reserve goalkeepers Cao Van Binh and Nguyen Tan).
This shows that the 2025 U.23 Southeast Asian Championship is truly a collective achievement of the entire team, including 23 players and the coaching staff, medical staff , logistics staff, and media staff who overcame many difficulties and pressures to create an all-winning team in the archipelago.
This result, along with the encouragement from VFF, will be a great encouragement for coach Kim Sang-sik and his team to aim for bigger goals, including the 33rd SEA Games in Thailand at the end of the year and the U.23 Asian Cup, ASIAD 2026.
