These are the majors with the highest benchmark scores for the C00 combination in recent years, even exceeding 30/30 points in some years. In 2024, the Public Relations major has the highest benchmark score in the school in the C00 combination (29.1/30 points). The benchmark score for Korean Studies for this combination is 29.05/30 points and the benchmark score for Journalism is 29.03/30 points.

This year's university admissions will have some adjustments that will directly impact candidates.

Speaking with Tien Phong reporter, Associate Professor, Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong - Vice Principal of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities informed that in 2025, the school will enroll 28 majors at the university level with 3 admission methods, including: direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training ; considering the results of the capacity assessment exam of Hanoi National University; considering the 2025 high school graduation exam scores.

Candidates who win prizes in national or provincial competitions for excellent students, candidates with SAT scores, etc. will receive bonus points. Candidates with international certificates in foreign languages will have their foreign language scores converted to foreign language scores in the admission combination that includes foreign languages.

2025 is the first year of high school graduation exams according to the 2018 general education program. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, high school graduation exam candidates will take compulsory exams in 2 subjects: Literature, Mathematics and 2 elective subjects from the remaining subjects studied in grade 12, including: Foreign languages, History, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, Economic and Legal Education, Information Technology, Technology.

With the new high school exam format from 2025, in theory, it is possible to encode 36 graduation exam combinations (2+2), and 81 university entrance exam combinations based on the combination of compulsory and optional subjects of candidates.

Based on the orientation of innovation in high school exam subjects applied from 2025, according to the admission requirements of each industry, the requirements on foreign language output standards according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, at the same time, implementing the strategy of internationalizing training programs, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities increases the selection of combinations of Literature - History - English, Literature - Geography - English, Math - Literature - English, Literature - Civic Education - English, ...

In particular, full-time students of the school have the opportunity to study a second major from the training majors of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (for example: Journalism, Tourism and Travel Services Management, Public Relations, Psychology, International Studies, Hotel Management, Office Management, Information Management, Cultural Studies, etc.), or from many other training majors in schools of Hanoi National University.

Thus, according to the explanation of Associate Professor Dang Thu Huong, although the school does not consider the C00 group, the groups of subjects still mostly lean towards social sciences. Each group must have at least Literature according to the regulations of the Regulations, in addition to one of two subjects such as Geography and History.
