Ms. Tran Thi Thu Huong, Principal of Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School, hopes that through this activity, students will be able to approach the historical traditions of the nation more vividly and easily.
“With this activity, the school hopes to nurture and promote the students’ love for their country. In addition, the school wants students to have moments of relaxation after school hours,” shared the principal of Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School.
The program took place with many special performances, recreating the glorious milestones in Vietnamese history. The opening was the national drum performance "Drum offering to Hung Kings" full of spirit, recalling the merits of building the country of Hung Kings.
Next, the students enjoyed the "Trung Queen" scene performed by Meritorious Artist Trinh Trinh and Ho Thao Nhi (students of Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School), "Sang Mai Sao Noi Ngoi" performed by Artist Hoai Thanh and Ho Thao My, and the excerpt "The poem of the saddle" with the participation of artists Thanh Long, Tu Quyen and especially Ho Thao Nhi in the role of Queen Thuong Duong.
Ho Thao Nhi, a 5th grader at Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School, said: “Through the performance, I have a better understanding of the historical figures that I have learned about in books. I hope that through historical reenactments, my friends will love history more.”
"Hoai Thanh has participated in many school historical opera programs and has been warmly welcomed by students. When children learn about historical figures through books, it is difficult to imagine. Through the programs of historical opera about historical figures vividly portrayed on stage, students will be impressed and remember longer" - Cai Luong artist Hoai Thanh expressed.
Mr. Tran Ngoc Thanh, Deputy Head of the Parents' Representative Board of Dinh Tien Hoang Primary School, assessed that the history extracurricular activities at school are very necessary to help nurture children's love for the Fatherland from an early age. "Through these extracurricular activities, children can learn more historical knowledge in a more vivid and memorable way, not only helping them remember the lessons longer but also being a meaningful entertainment activity" - Mr. Thanh said.
The program "School Stage - Shining Vietnamese History" recreates heroic history and arouses national pride. This extracurricular activity helps convey historical knowledge in a vivid way, making an important contribution toeducating patriotic traditions for primary school students.
