
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man welcomed the Chief Justice of the Lao People's Supreme Court and the delegation of the Lao People's Supreme Court to visit and work in Vietnam and have a very practical and effective working program with the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam; emphasizing that the Party, State and people of Vietnam always attach importance to and give the highest priority to the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.
The National Assembly Chairman expressed his joy at the great achievements that the Lao people have made in recent times. Laos will continue to successfully implement the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party and the 9th Five-Year Socio- Economic Development Plan.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that recently, the Politburo, the Secretariat and General Secretary To Lam have directed the Government and the National Assembly to step up the implementation of projects with Laos related to fields such as socio-economics, education, training and data systems that the Ministry of Public Security is implementing.
The Vietnamese and Lao National Assembly have coordinated in supervising Vietnamese investment projects in Laos, aiming to remove difficulties and obstacles for both sides to jointly promote early completion.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man highly appreciated the fact that the Supreme People's Courts of Vietnam and Laos continued to exchange, reach agreement and move towards signing a new Memorandum of Cooperation; hoped that the two sides would continue to exchange experiences in training and fostering officials, digital transformation in judicial activities and strengthen connections between local courts.

The National Assembly Chairman was pleased to learn that the Conference of Courts of the Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia border provinces is still held every two years; he said that the results of the Conference continue to affirm the positive role of the Court in protecting justice, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the people, contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendly cooperation among the three neighboring countries.
On this occasion, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man respectfully sent his regards to Lao General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith, Lao National Assembly Chairman Saysomphone Phomvihane and other senior Lao leaders; expressed his belief that under the leadership of General Secretary and President Thongloun Sisoulith, Laos will successfully organize the 12th Party Congress and build a development plan for Laos in the next 5 years.
Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Vienthong Siphandone thanked National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man for taking the time to welcome the delegation; highly appreciated the comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, the two sides have carried out many important foreign affairs activities, in which high-ranking leaders of the two countries regularly meet through visits and multilateral and international events.
Emphasizing that both countries are preparing for the new term Party Congress, the Chief Justice of the Lao Supreme People's Court believes that under the leadership of the two Parties, the two sides will successfully organize this very important Congress.
The Chief Justice of the Lao Supreme People's Court said that during the delegation's visit and working session at the invitation of Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court of Vietnam Le Minh Tri, the two sides discussed the re-signing of the Cooperation Agreement between the two Supreme Courts (signed in 2008); the two sides will also strengthen professional training for Lao judges in various fields.

The Chief Justice of the Lao Supreme People's Court thanked Vietnam for supporting Laos in having a seaport, to transport goods through the Laos-Vietnam International Port, which was inaugurated last April.
Chief Justice of the Lao Supreme People's Court Vienthong Siphandone hopes that in the coming time, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man will pay attention and provide guidance for the two countries' judiciary to develop together.
