Vietnam and Ethiopia sign many important cooperation documents

At the invitation of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh , Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed Ali and his wife paid an official visit to Vietnam and attended the 4th Partnership for Green Growth and the Global Goals (P4G) Summit from April 14-17.

During the visit, the two sides agreed to sign cooperation documents to further strengthen the friendly relations between Vietnam and Ethiopia.

The Minister of Labor and Skills Development of Ethiopia and the Minister of Education and Training of Vietnam signed and exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding on educational cooperation between the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and the Ministry of Education of Ethiopia.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia and the Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam signed and exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding on trade cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam and the Ministry of Trade and Regional Integration of Ethiopia.

Also at the ceremony, the leader of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam presented the Letter of Approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ethiopia Airlines, allowing Ethiopia Airlines to open a direct flight connecting the two capitals of Hanoi (Vietnam) and Addis Ababa (Ethiopia).

In addition, on this occasion, the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry and the Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a Cooperation Agreement on the sidelines of the Business Forum between the two countries.
