On May 17, 2023, in Hanoi , Vietnam Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Vietbank - VBB) was honored to receive the award "Top 50 Best Growth Enterprises in Vietnam 2023" organized by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company and VietNamNet newspaper.
The ranking has been conducted annually since 2015, based on the results of independent research and evaluation by Vietnam Report with the advice of experts and advisory boards on development capacity, growth rate, policies for employees, contributions to the social community and innovation of participating units.
In the first months of 2023, the economy as well as the banking industry of our country faced many challenges, but Vietbank still maintained its growth rate and ensured stability in all operations.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Sy - Deputy General Director, representing Vietbank, received the title of Top 50 Best Growth Enterprises in Vietnam 2023.
At the end of the first quarter of 2023, Vietbank's pre-tax profit reached more than 197 billion VND, an increase of 74.34% over the same period in 2022. Total assets reached nearly 107 trillion VND, an increase of 1.92% over the same period in 2022. Total mobilization reached nearly 97 trillion VND; of which, capital mobilization from customers reached nearly 80 trillion VND; customer loans reached over 61 trillion VND.
Also in the first quarter of 2023, Vietbank was honored with the "Top 10 Gold Quality Services for Consumer Rights 2023". And this "Top 50 Best Growing Enterprises in Vietnam 2023" award continues to be a testament to Vietbank's efforts in constantly innovating and creating products and services to provide the best and most competitive financial services to customers, aiming for safe and sustainable development.
In the coming time, Vietbank will focus on developing its traditional customer base in a retail-oriented manner; at the same time, providing capital for production and service sectors prioritized by the Government .
Along with maintaining the growth rate, Vietbank will improve asset quality, continue to restructure the structure of debt and assets towards reducing the proportion of risky assets, improving profitability; focus on increasing mobilization growth, especially capital from economic organizations and residents, non-term mobilized capital, increasing mobilization in USD; synchronously and drastically implement solutions to continue to improve capital costs, enhance operational efficiency indicators.
