Vietnam Airlines increases flights after storm Tra Mi

(NADS) - On the morning of October 28, Vietnam Airlines announced that it will add 6 more flights today to support passengers affected by storm Tra Mi.

Previously, due to the impact of storm No. 6, the airline had canceled nearly 90 domestic and international flights. After Dong Hoi, Phu Bai, Da Nang and Chu Lai airports reopened, on the afternoon of October 27, Vietnam Airlines added 4 flights between Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.

In addition to Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet and Bamboo Airways also announced additional flights and flexible operating hours to support passengers due to flight delays or cancellations yesterday.

Airlines expressed their hope for understanding from passengers as bad weather is a force majeure situation, causing large costs for the airlines. At the same time, they advised passengers planning to travel at the relevant airports to regularly update weather conditions and information from the airlines to proactively adjust their schedules.
