Vietnam Airlines doubles number of flights on occasion of Dien Bien Phu Victory anniversary

Welcoming the first flight landing at Dien Bien airport after completing renovation and upgrading.

Peak flight frequency for the celebration will be nearly doubled compared to the current flight schedule. The flights meet the increased travel demand of passengers with many convenient flight time options, as well as support the event organization of Dien Bien province.

Currently, Vietnam Airlines is operating flights between Hanoi and Dien Bien with a frequency of 11 flights per week, a sharp increase compared to the initial period when this airport first resumed operations. All flights are operated by Airbus A321 aircraft.

With the theme "Glory of Dien Bien Phu - Endless Experience", the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien 2024 is a typical cultural-economic-social event, of national and international scale, associated with the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).
