Only about 4.1 nautical miles (nearly 8km) from Ha Long, Bai Tu Long is like a separate world: pristine, quiet and full of potential for exploration. From March 2025, Quang Ninh province will put this bay into tourism exploitation, positioning it as a destination for tourists who love nature, experience culture, sports , and target customers with a taste for sustainable exploration.
With over 15,000 hectares of rocky islands and sea surface, Bai Tu Long is famous for its cave system, mangrove forests, coral reefs, ancient fishing villages and pristine beaches. Bai Tu Long National Park, recognized as an ASEAN Heritage Park, is developing mildly adventurous itineraries such as kayaking, rock climbing, jungle island trekking, and cave visits, especially suitable for the running community that tends to combine exercise and relaxation.
Mr. Pham Ngoc Vinh, Director of Bai Tu Long National Park Management Board, said: "We target dynamic, nature-loving visitors who want to escape the pace of city life through deep experiences with nature. Bai Tu Long owns a system of inhabited islands, where visitors can experience the lives of the people. Some islands here have beautiful beaches with long white sand, creating privacy for visitors, as well as limiting crowds."
