The event was jointly organized by the Young Pioneer and Children Newspaper and the Hong Ha Stationery Joint Stock Company with the participation of hundreds of students from all over the country competing at the festival.

Candidates participate in the exams at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam ( Hanoi ).
This year's Final Round was attended by 349 candidates from 33 provinces and 208 schools nationwide. Among them, 161 candidates from grades 2, 3, 4, and 5 competed in the Young Champion Contest, 116 candidates from grades 2, 3, 4, and 5 participated in the Calligraphy Contest, and 72 candidates from grades 6, 7, and 8 competed in the Golden List Contest.
In the Handwriting Contest, candidates write and present their test papers based on the topics and paper provided by the Organizing Committee within 20 minutes. In the Young Champion Contest, candidates receive the topics and do the test in the following order: Vietnamese in 15 minutes, Math in 15 minutes, Natural Sciences - Social Sciences (grades 2+3) or History and Geography (grades 4+5) in 10 minutes and Life Skills in 10 minutes, totaling 50 minutes. Finally, in the Golden List of Enrollment, candidates do an individual test in 45 minutes in one of the two subjects: Math and Social Sciences (Literature - History - Geography).
After completing the individual exam, the students of grades 6, 7, and 8 continued to move to the Nursery area of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam to participate in the surprising and exciting team competition.

Speaking at the ceremony, Journalist Nguyen Phan Khue, Editor-in-Chief of the Young Pioneers and Children Newspaper, Head of the Organizing Committee, said that today's festival is not only an intellectual playground for children, but also an opportunity to foster the spirit of learning, preserving handwriting and character. In the sacred atmosphere of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification, he believes that the young generation will continue the glorious tradition, writing more golden pages of history for the nation.
In the Beautiful Writing category, the Organizing Committee decided to award 4 First prizes, 12 Second prizes, 16 Third prizes and 84 Encouragement prizes.
In the Young Champion category, there were 12 Champion prizes, 16 Second Prize prizes, 24 Third Prize prizes and 109 Third Prize prizes honored.
In the Golden List category, there are 6 first-class laureates, 6 second-class laureates, 12 third-class laureates, 48 third-class laureates and 24 team laureates.

The "Procession of the Mandarin" ceremony was solemnly held at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam relic site.
The "Procession of the Trạng" ceremony was solemnly held at the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, the 18 most excellent "Trang Nguyen" were named one after another.
