Within the framework of the United Nations Vesak 2025, a Buddhist cultural exhibition with the theme Where art and spirituality converge took place at Lang Le – Bau Co Cultural Park (Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City). As the main MC, Nguyen Khang appeared in traditional costumes, expressing the spirit of honoring Vietnamese cultural values.

At the beginning of the program, MC Nguyen Khang and the monks and nuns performed the Buddhist flag-raising ceremony. This solemn ceremony took place with the sound of bells and drums and a lively lion and dragon dance performance, expressing respect and joy in welcoming the domestic and foreign delegations.

Immediately after the ceremony, Nguyen Khang took on the role of leading the opening ceremony of the Buddhist cultural exhibition, smoothly coordinating the rituals of chanting Buddha's name to pray for blessings, introducing delegates, opening speeches by the organizing committee, speeches by government representatives, ribbon cutting and traditional art programs imbued with Vietnamese national identity.

During the ceremony, there was live interpretation and exhibition tour guidance for Venerable Dhammaratana - Permanent Vice President of the Vesak 2025 Organizing Committee, who has made many contributions to spreading the spirit of Buddhism to the international community. Nguyen Khang introduced more than 80 exhibition booths, recreating typical Buddhist cultural heritages from many countries, especially precious artifacts and images of the history of Vietnamese Buddhism.

In addition, Nguyen Khang also accompanied artists including Huynh Lap, Van Trang... in activities such as Buddha bathing ceremony, candle lighting for peace and parade around the campus of Viet Nam Quoc Tu. These moments are an opportunity for the Buddhist community to spread positive energy to life together.

Sharing after the program, Nguyen Khang said: “I feel honored to accompany the Vesak festival – an event of sacred significance to millions of Buddhists around the world. Every moment at today’s opening ceremony brought me peace and deep emotions.”
