Vinh Phuc: The rate of people participating in health insurance and social insurance is constantly increasing.

Aiming at the goal of universal health insurance, in recent years, along with investment and improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, Vinh Phuc province has effectively implemented policies to support people to participate in health insurance, ensuring their rights.

The rate of people participating in health insurance and social insurance in Vinh Phuc province is constantly increasing (Photo MH).

According to the report of Vinh Phuc Provincial Social Insurance, by the end of September 2023, the whole province had 1,135,000 people participating in health insurance, an increase of over 10,000 people compared to June 2023, an increase of more than 15,000 people compared to the same period last year, reaching a coverage rate of 94.8%; 246,543 people participating in social insurance, an increase of 2,277 people compared to June 2023, an increase of 1,149 people compared to the same period last year and accounting for 42.8% of the labor force; 220,570 people participating in unemployment insurance, an increase of 2,482 people compared to June 2023, an increase of 757 people compared to the same period last year, accounting for 38.3% of the labor force.

By the end of 2023, it is expected that over 95% of the province's population will participate in health insurance; 45.3% of workers will participate in social insurance. The provincial Social Insurance will promote administrative procedure reform, implement level 4 online public services, and deploy the VssID application for 100% of social insurance and health insurance participants.

Strengthen inspection and examination work; monthly notify the results of social insurance payment to employers and employees; promptly detect and handle violations, especially acts of evasion, late payment, negative acts, fraud to enjoy benefits, and profiteering from social insurance and health insurance. Strengthen dialogue and resolve difficulties and obstacles regarding health insurance and social insurance policies for employers.
