According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the incident of two female students fighting in a school restroom occurred in October 2025.

On the evening of November 7, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City reported that two female students were fighting in the restroom at Phu An Secondary School, Phu An Ward (formerly Binh Duong).

Accordingly, the two students who fought were 8th graders at Phu An Secondary School. The incident happened on October 11, 2025, after the last class.

After receiving the information, on October 12, the school invited the students involved to come forward to give a statement. The initial cause was determined to be due to a conflict between two students while using the restroom, leading to an impulsive action.

Next, the school invited the concerned parents to work. The parents were informed and committed to cooperate with the school to manage and educate their children.

On October 15, the disciplinary council of Phu An Secondary School met and agreed on the following disciplinary measures for the students:

Two students who directly fought were suspended from school for 7 days, with their conduct reduced to average for the first semester of the 2025-2026 school year; eight students who stood by and watched and filmed the video were suspended from school for 3 days, with their conduct reduced to average for the month.

It is known that on November 7, social networks continued to spread a clip recording two female students fighting in the restroom at Phu An Secondary School.

These two female students continuously slapped each other in the face, pulled each other's hair, struggled, wrestled each other to the ground and then fought fiercely in the school restroom.

The incident lasted for about 2 minutes. It is worth mentioning that while the students were fighting in the restroom, there were many other students watching but absolutely no one intervened.

In recent days, school violence has occurred continuously across the country.

In early November 2025, in Ho Chi Minh City, there was also an incident where 6 female 8th grade students from An Dien Secondary School, Long Nguyen Ward (formerly Binh Duong) beat up a classmate in the restroom.

The group repeatedly slapped and kicked the female student in the face and stomach, then grabbed her hair and threw her to the ground savagely. Meanwhile, many other female students stood around filming the clip, not only did not stop them but also cheered.

The reason was that the students had a conflict during physical education class, which led to a fight.
