The case of a girl who was sexually harassed at Mipec Long Bien: Identifying the man

(NLDO) - The leader of Long Bien District Police (Hanoi) on September 4 said that he had directed the General Investigation and Criminal Technique teams to strengthen and coordinate with the local police to conduct investigation measures and strictly handle the behavior of Mr. D.D.T., who was accused of molesting a young girl, according to the law.

On September 4, regarding the case of a man accused by residents of molesting a young girl (born in 1991, residing in Hanoi) and assaulting residents in the basement of the Mipec Long Bien building (Ngoc Lam ward, Long Bien district), a leader of the Long Bien District Police said that they had received the file and the subject of the case of the man accused by residents, transferred by the Ngoc Lam Ward Police.

Upon receiving the report from the people, Ngoc Lam Ward Police arrived at the scene and took the man and related people to the headquarters for investigation and handling. When arriving at the police headquarters, the man accused of inappropriate behavior was still drunk.

Given the nature of the incident, upon receiving the report on the evening of September 2, the Long Bien District Police Department directed the General Investigation and Criminal Technique teams to strengthen their coordination with the local police to conduct investigation measures. Currently, the investigation agency is urgently collecting documents and statements from witnesses and related people, and will strictly handle this man's actions according to the law.

Initially, the authorities identified the accused man as D.D.T. (born in 1973, residing in Long Bien ward, Long Bien district, Hanoi ).

A source from the Lao Dong Newspaper said that before the incident, a man named T. went to the house of a resident of the building who was a senior officer, working at a ministry-level agency, and showed signs of drinking alcohol. After leaving his friend's house, he went to the wrong parking lot and met a young girl. This man parked his car in basement B1 but mistakenly went to basement B2. While trying to get to floor B2 to get his car, he met the girl and sexually harassed and assaulted the resident as accused.

Also according to the source, after the security guard took this man to the security room, two friends came down to receive him, begging with the reason "the friend was drunk" but the residents and the representative of the Management Board invited the Ngoc Lam Ward Police to come and work.
