(Dan Tri) - After checking at the Kera vegetable candy production company in Dak Lak, the provincial Department of Health took samples for testing and is waiting for official results to report to the Department of Food Safety ( Ministry of Health ).

On the afternoon of March 13, Mr. Nay Phi La, Director of the Dak Lak Department of Health , confirmed to Dan Tri reporter that he had sent a quick report to the Department of Food Safety regarding the inspection results at Asia Life Joint Stock Company (address at 18/99 Nguyen Van Linh, Ea Tu commune, Buon Ma Thuot city), which is an enterprise producing Kera vegetable candy.

According to Mr. Nay Phi La, previously, the Food Safety Department sent an official dispatch requesting the Dak Lak Department of Health to inspect and verify at Asia Life Joint Stock Company and report to the Department before March 12.

The Dak Lak Department of Health Inspection Team took a sample of Supergreens Gummies (96g/box) produced at the company and sent it to the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene for testing of food safety quality according to regulations.

"When the sample test results are available, the Department will consider handling and report to the Department of Food Safety according to regulations," the quick report of the Dak Lak Department of Health stated.

In addition to taking samples for testing, the authorities also checked the legal documents of Asia Life Joint Stock Company; the conditions of the company's facilities, personnel, and equipment; production processes; traceability of raw materials, additives, and declaration documents for food packaging...

A representative of Asia Life Joint Stock Company admitted that the company was established in 2023 and signed a cooperation agreement with Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company (HCMC) in November 2024. This company signed 3 product processing contracts with this partner and provided 40,000-50,000 products, which are Kera vegetable candy boxes.

The representative of Asia Life Joint Stock Company explained that Chi Em Rot Group Joint Stock Company is the unit that registered to announce the Kera vegetable candy product, while Asia Life Joint Stock Company only followed the contract and based on the product ingredients announced by the partner to produce.

Previously, TikToker Hang Du Muc and Quang Linh Vlogs apologized for over-advertising the benefits of Kera vegetable candy produced by Asia Life Joint Stock Company. On March 6, Miss Thuy Tien also spoke out about the incident of advertising Kera vegetable candy. On March 7, the Dak Lak Department of Health established an inspection team right at the headquarters of Asia Life Joint Stock Company.
