Vu Luan burst into tears on TV when remembering the advice of his adoptive father Vu Linh

In episode 11 of the show Tai danh tan co, the performance Hon Vong Phu by contestant Hung Vuong and Meritorious Artist Le Hong Tham moved the entire studio. Not only the performers but also the judges and MCs were moved to tears.

Before, every time I played any role, Linh's father would call me that night and say: 'My child, you have to do something different, make people see you as Vu Luan and not Vu Linh. That will be the greatest success in your career.' This sentence is still in my mind.

I still remember my father saying: 'My son, your generation's singing career, you have to do it differently, don't be like my generation'. Once upon a time, there was a Huu Loi that no one could be like, but then my father appeared. The history page of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh has closed, has become a legend, the next generation is me, my brothers, the Hung Vuong of today."

Vu Luan burst into tears when he remembered the image of his adoptive father.

"I have loved Linh's father in this role since I first entered the profession. I have sung all of his roles, but it took me nearly twenty years to dare to recreate the role in Hon Vong Phu. In 2018, when I felt I had mastered the profession, I dared to play this role with Trinh Trinh. From the details, inner thoughts, to the way my father sang, it was very special and unlike anyone else. For me, when I touch any role, I have to perform it successfully because that is what my father left for me," he confided.

Vu Luan is sometimes mistaken for the biological son of Meritorious Artist Vu Linh.

Meritorious Artist Vu Luan, along with artist Binh Tinh, are the two adopted children who mourned Meritorious Artist Vu Linh. Previously, Meritorious Artist Vu Linh was not only an adoptive father but also a teacher who guided Meritorious Artist Vu Luan in how to sing and act.

After many years in the profession with the dedicated guidance of previous teachers, including Vu Linh's adoptive father, Meritorious Artist Vu Luan has now become a big name in the contemporary cai luong stage.
