Informing Tuoi Tre Online on the afternoon of May 20, a representative of The Coffee House coffee chain said that the brand had agreed on a solution with the family of female doctor HML (29 years old, from Nghe An ) in the incident where a glass panel fell on her.

"We discussed with the family in the spirit that Ms. HML is a customer and encountered an incident at the store, so we did not shirk responsibility and made efforts to find a satisfactory solution. Ms. HML's family also acknowledged our apology and goodwill to reach a solution.

Regarding the plan to ensure customer safety after the incident, The Coffee House said it has requested the Viet Tower building (No. 1 Thai Ha) to maintain and reinforce all the glass walls surrounding the area.

At the same time, strengthen the standards and frequency of inspection and maintenance of infrastructure at the remaining stores in the system.

At the same time, this coffee chain also apologized to customers after the incident.

That same afternoon, speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Ms. HML's family confirmed that they had agreed on a solution to the incident with The Coffee House.

"Both sides felt satisfied so there were clear and consensual agreements," said Ms. L's family.

Regarding the details of the settlement plan, Dr. L's family also said that this content was agreed to be kept confidential and not to be disclosed.

Previously, on the evening of April 20, Ms. HML (29 years old) sat drinking coffee with friends at a coffee shop on Thai Ha street, Trung Liet ward, Dong Da district, Hanoi .

At that time, it was raining heavily, a large glass panel from the 2nd floor collapsed. The incident injured 4 employees and 3 customers. Among them, Ms. HML was the most seriously injured. A day later, 6 people were discharged from the hospital, only Ms. HML continued to receive treatment.
