Department of Law and Justice: Innovating emulation work associated with advisory activities, serving the National Assembly and National Assembly agencies in law-making work

During the 2020 - 2025 term, the unit's emulation movement has been closely linked, inseparable from political and professional tasks, promoting collective intelligence, working groups and individuals in the unit, always encouraging the spirit of responsibility, innovation, creativity, and enthusiasm in work, thereby improving the quality of advisory work, serving the activities of the Committee, the National Assembly Standing Committee and the National Assembly.

Many emulation movements, with rich and diverse themes in many fields

In the period of 2020 - 2025, implementing the Plan of the National Assembly Office on organizing emulation movements and annual commendation work, the Department of Law and Justice has deployed many emulation movements at the unit with many rich and diverse topics in many fields.

Through each emulation movement with practical topics, the quality of advice and service of each civil servant in the Department has been improved, clearly demonstrated through the quality of draft laws, ordinances, and resolutions considered and approved by the National Assembly and the National Assembly Standing Committee in recent times; completing more work each year than the previous year, contributing positively and effectively to the work of advice and service to the National Assembly and its agencies.

Competition is associated with criteria on progress, quality and effectiveness of consulting, serving assigned political tasks :

On the basis of the emulation movements that have been launched, the innovation of emulation work associated with law-making activities is carried out by the Department through including criteria on progress, quality and effectiveness of consulting and serving the National Assembly and the Committee on building and perfecting the legal system in the content of emulation and rewards.

Thereby, the emulation movements do not stop at formality but become a driving force to motivate the unit's civil servants to actively advise and help the Standing Committee of the Committee to implement a huge amount of work related to law-making with outstanding achievements, such as advising and serving the amendment and supplementation of a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; advising and effectively serving the National Assembly sessions and the National Assembly Standing Committee meetings with a spirit of strong innovation in law-making thinking...

Competition is associated with enhancing professionalism and efficiency in consulting and service work :

On the basis of the emulation movement "Quality, efficiency, professionalism in general consulting, serving the National Assembly, agencies of the National Assembly, the Office of the National Assembly, agencies under the Standing Committee of the National Assembly" launched by the Office of the National Assembly, the consulting and serving work of the Department has been gradually innovated and improved through the work.

Emulation is associated with good implementation of rules and regulations:

During the 2020-2025 period, the Office of the National Assembly launched a number of movements such as: "The whole country unites, joins hands, and competes to prevent, fight and defeat the Covid-19 pandemic" (2021-2022); "The whole country joins hands for the poor - No one is left behind in the 2021-2025 period"; "Cadres, civil servants, public employees and contract workers compete to implement office culture in the 2019-2025 period".

To implement these movements, each civil servant of the Department strives to promote organizational awareness, strictly comply with the regulations and discipline of the agency; strictly implement communication and behavioral standards of civil servants to ensure the spirit of cooperation and mutual assistance in performing tasks, public duties and administrative hierarchy, and not be factionalist, causing disunity within the agency.

In addition, promoting the spirit of solidarity, the Department's leadership and Party Committee, through their efforts, always pay attention to the lives, thoughts and aspirations of the Department's specialists. The Department's leadership regularly organizes visits when comrades in the Department and their families are sick; organizes visits and condolences to relatives of comrades from other units in the agency, agencies that have working relations with the Committee and the Department.

Emulation is associated with innovation and improving the quality of reward work:

Over the years, the commendation work at the Department has always been focused on, ensuring timeliness, the right person, the right job. The proposal for commendation is based on the achievements, commendation criteria, specific conditions and circumstances of the achievements, ensuring the correct process, subjects, and procedures according to regulations.

Timely rewards, encouragement, and recognition of the efforts and contributions of the collective, leaders, and civil servants of the Department have created motivation to continue striving, improve work efficiency, and contribute to promoting the emulation movement in the unit.

Diversify forms of organizing emulation movements

In the coming time, the leaders and civil servants of the Department will continue to implement solutions to innovate emulation work, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of advisory work, serving the National Assembly and its agencies in law-making work.

That is to continue to promote the implementation of emulation movements according to programs and plans associated with political and professional tasks and patriotic emulation movements towards the 80th Anniversary of the First General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly.

Diversify the forms of organizing emulation movements to attract the participation of all leaders and civil servants of the Department to improve the quality of advisory work and service to the National Assembly and its agencies.

Promote the spirit of responsibility, positivity, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility; proactively propose initiatives, technical solutions, management and operational solutions to further improve the quality, efficiency, effectiveness and efficiency of advisory work and service to the National Assembly and its agencies.

Regularly summarize, evaluate, and promptly propose rewards for collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements, good and creative ways of handling work; enhance the role and responsibility of the Department's leaders, first and foremost the Deputy Department Directors in charge of the field in discovering, praising, and proposing rewards to competent authorities.

Continue to discover, nurture and replicate new factors, advanced models with new initiatives and solutions in applying science and technology , digital transformation, innovation, etc. in the unit.
