Duong Hoa Commune promotes the role of the grassroots security and order protection team

On August 1, Duong Hoa commune held a review of 1 year of deploying forces to participate in protecting security and order at the grassroots level.

Reporting at the conference, Lieutenant Colonel Ha Quang Binh, Deputy Head of the Commune Police, said: Duong Hoa Commune has 46 security and order protection teams in 46 villages, with 142 members. After one year of operation, the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level of the commune regularly follows the area, grasps the situation in residential areas, coordinates effectively with the local police in household registration management; promptly detects and reports incidents that pose a risk of causing insecurity and order; provides 20 valuable pieces of information related to the security and order situation, subjects under management; supports the effective implementation of fire prevention, fire fighting, administrative management of social order; coordinates the implementation of 34 traffic safety and urban civilization campaigns.

The force also participated in 15 legal dissemination sessions on the Law on Cyber Security, the Law on Residence, the Law on Land, and the Law on Drugs; coordinated with the Commune Police to mobilize 100% of local residents to sign a commitment not to use fireworks during Tet; participated in 65 mediation sessions to resolve conflicts among the masses, contributing to reducing domestic violence and insecurity and disorder in the locality; promptly handled incidents arising from the grassroots, contributing to building a stable, safe area with no hot spots.

At the conference, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Duong Hoa Commune, Le Duc Phong, highly appreciated the efforts of the forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level, contributing to creating a foundation for stability and sustainable development of the locality.

The leaders of Duong Hoa commune also requested the Commune Police to proactively review, select, and consolidate the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; the entire force must constantly improve its qualifications, train, foster expertise, skills, and handling skills in situations; strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to actively participate in the movement "All people protect national security"; strictly comply with the provisions of the law; promote the role of self-management models in residential areas; and replicate effective operating models.

At the same time, the Commune Police and the security and order protection forces at the grassroots level organized and launched an emulation movement to achieve achievements in welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day September 2; celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the People's Public Security Forces with specific actions and deeds; strengthening close coordination with departments, branches, sectors, and organizations, especially mediation teams, self-managed inter-family groups, fire prevention and fighting teams, etc., in order to promote the combined strength, build a solid people's security posture; promptly grasp and handle incidents right at the grassroots level, not allowing hot spots and complications to occur in the area.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Nhat Quang, Head of the Commune Police, accepted the direction of the commune leaders and pledged to continue promoting the achieved results; overcome shortcomings and limitations; strengthen training and professional training for the force, improve the effectiveness of coordination between the Commune Police and the force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; continue to promote the work of grasping the situation, preventing early and from afar, not being passive and surprised in any situation.
