Can Tho sets off fireworks and builds flower streets for the Year of the Horse

Many attractive activities such as flower art street, high-altitude fireworks display... are organized by Can Tho City to serve people on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.

Can Tho City People's Committee has just issued a plan to organize activities to welcome the New Year 2026 and the Lunar New Year of Binh Ngo.

Accordingly, the city will decorate the streets with artistic lights on the following routes: Hoa Binh , 30-4 (section from Tran Van Hoai - Quang Trung - Vo Van Tan - City People's Committee roundabout). The operating time is from December 22 to June 15, 2026.

To welcome the New Year 2026, the city will organize an art program at Song Hau Park (Cai Khe Ward) at 9:00 p.m. Following that, the Countdown program to welcome the New Year 2026 will take place at the same location.

Meanwhile, in order to serve the people and tourists with sightseeing, entertainment, and check-in during the Lunar New Year, the city has built an art flower street on Vo Van Tan - Nguyen Thai Hoc street (Ninh Kieu ward).

The flower art street opens from February 14 to February 21, 2026 (December 27 to the 5th day of Lunar New Year).

New Year's Eve of the Year of the Horse is a brilliant high-altitude fireworks display at Song Hau Park (Cai Khe Ward).
