Before the procession, at 8:30 p.m. on May 27, there will be a prayer ceremony for national peace, world peace, and the happiness of all living beings, and a lamp offering ceremony at Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace.
The Buddha's relics are a sacred symbol in the belief of millions of Buddhists, representing the miraculous presence of the supremely enlightened one. Visiting the relics is not only an opportunity for Buddhists to show their respect, but also an opportunity to sow good karma and nurture compassion and wisdom.
After completing the enshrinement period at Truc Lam Palace, the Buddha's relics will continue their journey to Chuong Pagoda - one of the famous ancient temples with a long history in the North. Monks, nuns, Buddhists and people with good fortune can attend the procession to wholeheartedly turn to Buddha and create good karma during the Buddha's birthday season.
After two days of being enshrined at Truc Lam Yen Tu Palace, the relics of Buddha Shakyamuni attracted nearly 300,000 people and Buddhists from all over to come and worship in a solemn and reverent atmosphere. The stream of pilgrims stretched day and night, creating a sacred scene, expressing deep faith in the Buddha's teachings of compassion and enlightenment.
