Tam Xuan 1 Commune celebrates 30 years of establishment

Tam Xuan 1 Commune was established under Decree 102 dated August 29, 1994 of the Government , separated from Tam Xuan Commune. Throughout history, the people of Tam Xuan 1 Commune have always been united, diligent, creative in labor; resilient, brave in the fight against foreign invaders, protecting the homeland and country.

The commune has a natural area of ​​17.28 ^km2 with 13,500 people, of which more than 70% are farmers. Tam Xuan 1 is known as the "rice granary" of Nui Thanh district with more than 450 hectares of rice land. Previously, farmers depended on rainwater for production, with one crop per year and unstable productivity of no more than 20 quintals/ha; since Phu Ninh water and a widespread canal system with a total length of more than 23,000 meters, farmers have produced two crops, with rice productivity reaching 55-60 quintals/ha.

After 30 years of separation, Tam Xuan 1 commune has achieved many results in many fields. Annual food output reaches nearly 5,000 tons; from a purely agricultural commune, the proportion of industry and services now accounts for more than 75%. Tam Xuan 1 was recognized by the Provincial People's Committee as meeting new rural standards in December 2015.

Infrastructure is invested with a total annual value of more than 20 billion VND. Schools, medical stations, rural traffic, intra-field canals, village cultural houses, rural markets, office headquarters... are increasingly spacious and clean. Budget revenue in 2023 reached more than 27 billion VND, 80 times higher than in 1996.
