Shooter who won a ticket to the Olympics explains why he was not successful at the 19th ASIAD

Shooter Trinh Thu Vinh is one of the athletes expected to win a medal at the 19th ASIAD after winning a ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympics. However, after competing in 2 events, the 23-year-old athlete has not won any medals.

Sharing the reason for her unsatisfactory performance, Trinh Thu Vinh said: " I am not satisfied with today's performance. Up until now, I have not performed well in the finals so I am a bit worried.

I was under pressure when I didn't do well in the 25m, so I didn't get the result I wanted in the 10m today. The coaching staff helped me regain my composure to compete better, but this result is still not as good as my training results. I will consider this as a lesson for the next competitions.

For now, I will participate in the mixed team event tomorrow. I will try to get better results than the previous events ."

Currently, Vietnam Shooting has won 1 gold medal, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal. The 10m mixed air pistol event for men and women will start at 9:45 tomorrow (September 30).
