The semi-final pairings are exciting.
The final two matches of Groups A and B of the 2025 International Youth and Student Football Tournament - THACO Cup took place this evening (March 26th), with exciting developments. The University of Malaysia secured first place in Group B and a semi-final spot after defeating Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism 1-0. In the other match, the University of Laos won 2-0 against the host team, Ton Duc Thang University, thus becoming the last team to qualify for the semi-finals.
Thus, the four teams advancing to the semi-finals have been determined. They are Life University (first in Group A), University of Laos (second in Group A), University of Malaysia (first in Group B), and Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism (second in Group B).

The two teams that bid farewell to the competition are Ton Duc Thang University and Nanyang Technological University (Singapore).
The semi-final pairings and schedule for the 2025 International Youth and Student Football Tournament have also been determined. In the first semi-final, taking place at 3:30 PM on March 28th, Life University (from Cambodia) will compete against Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism. In the second semi-final, taking place at 5:45 PM on the same day, the University of Malaysia will face the University of Laos.
The teams will compete fiercely for a place in the finals of the 2025 International Youth and Student Football Tournament.
The champion contender has emerged.
With two consecutive wins, University of Life is currently the most impressive team.
The Cambodian representatives convincingly defeated Ton Duc Thang University 3-1 in the opening match, then went on to beat the University of Laos 2-0. With 5 goals and a fiery, attractive attacking style of play, University of Life is the top contender for the championship.
The University of Laos also regained its confidence by defeating Ton Duc Thang University in the final match. The excellent quality of their players and their fluid passing game helped the Laotian representatives overcome the host nation in a tough match to secure their place in the next round.
The University of Malaysia also demonstrated superior class. After an unfortunate draw against Nanyang Technological University on the opening day, the Malaysian representative convincingly defeated Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism to take the top spot. Meanwhile, Thanh Hoa University of Culture, Sports and Tourism will have to work harder if they want to reach the final.
