On the afternoon of March 2, the District Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front of Na Hang District, Tuyen Quang Province held a conference on socio -economic information and met with generations of leaders on the occasion of the Spring of Giap Thin 2024.
Attending the conference were comrades: Chau Van Lam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee; leaders, former leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of Na Hang district through the periods.
At the conference, the delegates were informed by the leaders of Na Hang district about the socio-economic development situation of the district after 3 years of implementing the Resolution of the 22nd District Party Congress; directions and tasks for 2024.
Accordingly, in 2023, Na Hang district achieved 18/18 main target groups. In particular, the collection of State budget in the area and the implementation of the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households both exceeded the assigned estimates and annual tasks. The important economic sector is tourism development, which is vibrant and attractive, with increasingly focused and improved service quality. Mobilizing and attracting many resources to develop infrastructure to promote socio-economic development.
Foreign affairs and international cooperation between the People's Committee of Na Hang district and the Lohmen region, Zehna region, Gustrow-Land district, Mecklenburg - Vorpommern state, Federal Republic of Germany are increasingly becoming more substantial. The poverty rate of the whole district has decreased to 32.61%...
In 2024, Na Hang district will continue to implement 2 breakthroughs, 3 key tasks and 5 main groups of solutions of the Resolution of the District Party Congress; focusing on the main targets of increasing the number of communes achieving new rural status to 6 communes, reaching 54.5%; developing the "4 seasons" tourism project; building brands and developing more OCOP products; average income per capita reaching 40 million VND/person/year; planting over 530 hectares of new forests; attracting over 350,000 tourists; budget revenue in the area of 55 billion VND; total retail sales of goods and services over 2,200 billion VND...
Speaking at the conference, Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Secretary Chau Van Lam acknowledged and commended the socio-economic development results that Na Hang district has achieved in the past time. He emphasized that in 2024 and the following period, Na Hang district needs to review and comprehensively and specifically identify tasks and solutions, especially targets and tasks that are low in achievement, expected to be difficult to complete, targets with room for implementation... to strive to successfully implement the goals set out in the Resolution.
At the same time, continue to promote the development of agricultural, forestry, fishery products, and specialties associated with new rural construction. Focus on improving the quality and added value of agricultural, forestry, fishery products, and local OCOP products; speed up the progress of participating in the carbon credit market, and increase people's income...
Along with that, Na Hang district needs to continue to promote its unique potential and outstanding opportunities to develop tourism, soon making tourism an important economic sector of the district; effectively exploiting the special national scenic spot of Na Hang - Lam Binh Nature Reserve to develop eco-tourism products, community tourism, and experiential tourism.
At the same time, pay attention to preserving and effectively exploiting the unique cultural values of ethnic groups associated with tourism development, creating jobs, increasing income for people, determined to build Na Hang district to soon become a developed district, rich in identity, contributing to building Tuyen Quang into a fairly developed, comprehensive and sustainable province in the northern mountainous region./.
