Comrade Le Thanh Phuong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of An Phu commune said that An Phu commune currently includes the entire natural area and population of An Phu town, Vinh Hoi Dong commune; 3 hamlets of Phu Hoi commune and 2 hamlets of Phuoc Hung commune of An Phu district (before the merger).

An Phu commune has a natural area of 34.7 km2, a population of 49,051 people; a border of nearly 12 km adjacent to the Kingdom of Cambodia. The geographical location is quite favorable, the labor force is young, traffic is synchronous, infrastructure is invested and built quite quickly, there is a main border gate, An Phu wholesale market, many small markets, industrial clusters... are the premise for An Phu commune to break through to develop quickly and sustainably.

“In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Commune Party Committee identifies the common goal of promoting the combined strength of the entire political system; solidarity - democracy - innovation - creativity; promoting the application of information technology, digital transformation; creating conditions for private economic development, effectively mobilizing resources, potentials, and advantages for rapid and sustainable development; developing high-quality agricultural economy associated with the development of trade, services, and border economy; investing in building infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure; implementing social security well, improving the material and spiritual life of the people; maintaining national defense and security”, informed comrade Le Thanh Phuong.

The Commune Party Committee has set out 17 specific targets such as: Total state budget revenue for 5 years is 34 billion VND (average annual growth rate of 10%). Average annual growth rate of total product value in the area is 9%. Total social investment capital in the period of 2026 - 2030 is 4,260 billion VND. Average income per capita in the area by 2030 compared to 2025 will increase by 23% (in 2025, average income per capita is 65 million VND). The rate of poor households according to multidimensional poverty standards by 2030 is under 1.5%. The rate of schools meeting national standards is 66.7%, the rate of population participating in health insurance is 95%...

To achieve these goals and targets, Comrade Nguyen Hoang Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief Inspector of the province, suggested that the Party Committee, government and people of An Phu commune should continue to focus on building a "Straight - compact - strong - effective - efficient - effective" Party Committee and political system, equal to the task. Fully aware of the potential and advantages of the locality to develop the economy - society in a sustainable direction.

At the same time, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the commune for the new term continues to review, evaluate, arrange, and assign specific tasks to cadres and civil servants, especially comrades in the Standing Committee and the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the commune; proactively develop programs and plans to concretize the implementation of the congress resolution; promptly deploy and organize implementation so that the resolution can soon come into practice, creating clear changes right from the first year of the term.
