Building a 262 billion VND boarding school in a mountainous commune in Da Nang

The Tay Giang Boarding School, Semi-Boarding School, Primary School and Secondary School Project in Da Nang City has officially started with a total value of 262 billion VND.

This morning, August 19, the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works of Da Nang in coordination with the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City organized the launching ceremony of the Tay Giang Boarding School, Semi-boarding School, Primary School and Secondary School project in Ahu Village (Tay Giang Commune, Da Nang City).

Tay Giang commune was established on the basis of merging Atieng, Dang, Anong and Lang communes (Tay Giang district, old Quang Nam province).

The project is built on a planned area of ​​4.1 hectares, with a cost of 262 billion VND, invested by the Management Board of Investment Projects for Construction of Civil, Industrial and Technical Infrastructure Works of Da Nang.

The expected construction start date is November 2025 and completion and handover date is August 2026 to put into service for the new school year 2026 - 2027.

The project is expected to include items, classrooms and subjects with a total of 1,000 students, equivalent to 30 classes and 14 subject rooms. Of which, 15 classes are arranged for the secondary school and 15 classes for the primary school.

In addition, functional rooms are arranged to serve teaching and learning. The administrative and management block is arranged with the principal's office, 2 vice principal's offices, the pedagogical council room, and an office. The living service block includes a kitchen, a dining room, a dormitory for students, a public house for teachers, a multi-purpose house, an outdoor sports field, a cultural house, etc.

This is a project of important political significance in socio-economic development and implementation of ethnic policies to improve people's knowledge and human resource quality, create a source of local cadres, improve the material and spiritual life of people in border areas, and contribute to strengthening national defense and security.
