On the evening of November 13, a representative of Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6 (Department 6 - Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ) said that a mail truck fire broke out on the Van Phong - Nha Trang highway through Khanh Hoa province.
On the same afternoon, a mail truck with license plate 50H-237.xx driven by driver NNT (35 years old, residing in Dak Lak province) traveling from South to North on the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway, passing through Dien Lam commune (Khanh Hoa province) suddenly caught fire.
Seeing smoke and fire coming from the truck, driver T. turned the wheel and pulled over to the emergency lane.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department of Khanh Hoa Province mobilized specialized vehicles and officers and soldiers to the scene.
Police blocked off one lane to put out the fire, ensuring the safety of other vehicles.
The fire was later extinguished, but many of the goods in the truck were burned, fortunately there were no casualties.
According to Highway Traffic Police Team No. 6, Dien Lam Commune Police coordinated with relevant units to examine the scene and investigate the cause of the incident. Traffic through the area is now smooth.
