In the second half of June 2023, motorbike prices recorded a deep decrease in large quantities, including Honda, Yamaha, and Vinfast electric motorbikes.
Honda Winner X continues to be the model with the strongest price reduction on the market today. According to a survey by VietNamNet at many Honda HEADs, the Winner X manual clutch model is receiving a total incentive of up to 17 million VND with cash deducted directly from the vehicle price and registration support.
The selling price of this car model at dealers is currently fluctuating from 29.3-33.6 million VND, much lower than the listed price of 46.16-50.56 million VND.

Honda scooters also recorded a surprisingly deep decrease in the second half of June. In particular, the SH Mode standard version has dropped below the suggested price, attracting attention. Specifically, the SH Mode standard version with CBS brakes is currently priced at 57 million VND, 1 million VND lower than the listed price (58.19 million VND).
The SH Mode Premium ABS is sold for 65 million VND, a decrease of 900,000 VND compared to the previous price. However, the current price is still significantly higher than the manufacturer's price (63.29 million VND). The SH Mode special edition and the ABS sports edition are priced at the dealer at 71.5 million VND and 73 million VND, respectively, a decrease of nearly 1 million VND compared to last month.

In addition to direct discounts, some dealers also give away 1 million VND cash vouchers or gift packages worth 1.8 million VND to customers who buy SH Mode.
This time, the actual selling price of Honda SH125i is also unprecedentedly low. If in previous months, this model sometimes had a difference of 10-20 million VND compared to the listed price, now the difference has dropped to only 2.5 million VND for the standard version and 3-5 million VND for the remaining versions.
Accordingly, at the dealer, the standard SH 125i is currently priced at 77.5 million VND (company price 75.29 million); the Sport version is priced at 89.5 million VND (company listed price 85 million VND); the special version is sold at 88.3 million VND (company listed price 84.9 million VND) and the premium version is 87 million VND (listed price: 83.3 million).
The Honda SH 350i was originally priced at 150.99-152.49 million VND, but the actual selling price of this model at some HEADs is only 138-145 million VND, a decrease of about 7.5-13 million VND compared to the suggested price. The Honda Vario 160 scooter also received a promotion in the form of a voucher worth up to 5.8 million VND. In the segment of manual motorbikes, the Alpha, Wave RSX and Blade models also received attractive incentives with gift packages worth up to 1.2 million VND.
Competing with Honda, Yamaha has also launched many promotional programs for its products. The most notable of which is probably the information that the Yamaha Exciter 155 VVA model has been reduced by up to 4 million VND. At some dealers in Hanoi , the price of the Exciter 155 VVA is only about 43.3-48 million VND, 3-4 million VND lower than the listed price (47.8-51.1 million VND).

Yamaha Janus and Grande scooter models are being sold at stable prices compared to the suggested price and dealers are giving away a Samsung phone worth 2.99 million VND.
Along with Honda and Yamaha, Vinfast surprised everyone by launching a special program, reducing the price of the Evo200 Lite electric motorbike by nearly 3 million VND. Accordingly, after receiving the incentive, the price of the motorbike is only 19.4 million VND/vehicle (including VAT), a significant reduction compared to the current listed price of 22 million VND/vehicle. Along with the price incentive, the battery subscription fee is also applied at the same level at a minimum of 199,000 VND/vehicle/month.
According to the latest data from the General Statistics Office, in May, the country produced an estimated 292,100 new motorbikes, a slight increase of 3.8% compared to April (with 281,300 units) and an increase of 13.6% compared to May 2022.
This output brings the total number of new motorbikes produced domestically to an estimated 1,344,200 units in the first 5 months of 2023.
Abundant supply while purchasing power in the market has decreased sharply, leading to a high risk of increasing the amount of motorbikes in stock. That is one of the main reasons why motorbike prices have continuously decreased sharply in recent months.
