To achieve this goal, there must be strong reforms in mechanisms and policies; in which the focus is on removing legal barriers, protecting property rights, promoting startups and innovation. The issuance of Resolution No. 68 by the Politburo is receiving attention from the business community because this will be an important boost for the transformation of the private economy.

Resolution No. 68 of the Politburo on private economic development has just been passed, not only removing the "bottlenecks" that have hindered the development of private enterprises but also creating a new "lever", making the private economic sector a pillar of national development. Accordingly, people and enterprises are identified as the center and creative subjects in development. It is necessary to strongly foster the national entrepreneurial spirit, arouse innovation resources in the whole society, develop the digital economy, knowledge economy, green economy, and circular economy, bringing Vietnam to move forward quickly and strongly on the path of modernization and integration.

Tourism is identified by Ha Giang province as a key economic sector, a breakthrough in sustainable economic development, preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values ​​of ethnic minorities, preserving natural landscapes, protecting the environment, especially managing the planning of Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark well. Along with that, tourism products are diversified in a professional, quality and effective direction. Linking, cooperating, expanding the market, and improving the competitiveness of Ha Giang tourism are of interest and focus. State management of tourism is improved. The work of preserving and promoting the values ​​of cultural heritage, geological heritage, and scenic spots associated with tourism development is focused on, and infrastructure serving tourism is strengthened.

Since then, tourism has always been a field that requires innovation and huge investment; therefore, the issuance of Resolution No. 68 by the Politburo has really added confidence to businesses operating in the tourism sector. In particular, the Resolution has set out very specific policies, creating conditions for businesses to have equal access to resources in terms of land, capital, science and technology, etc. This is a necessary push for tourism businesses in the province to improve their quality. Mr. Lai Quoc Tinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of H'mong Village Tourism Investment and Development Joint Stock Company, Dong Ha Commune (Quan Ba) said: “Resolution 68 is like “unleashing” the private economy, serving the country's economy. Those working in tourism like us will be “supported” to develop; agencies, departments and branches will create all conditions, directly be companions to walk alongside businesses. With that, businesses and businessmen like us will wholeheartedly devote ourselves to the common development. Creating more jobs for local workers. Thereby, businesses will develop more and more, contributing more to society and the country”.

According to statistics, the province currently has nearly 4,400 enterprises and affiliated units with a total registered capital of over 38,000 billion VND. Every year, the business community contributes over 1,300 billion VND to the state budget and about 60% of the total product in the province. In response to the important decisions of Resolution No. 68, the business community of Ha Giang province will quickly implement action programs to seize new development opportunities. Faced with breakthrough opportunities, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association Nguyen Van Thang said: “In the coming time, the Association will specify the content of Resolution No. 68. At the same time, propose to the province to establish a Steering Committee to implement the Resolution to remove the remaining issues in the implementation process. Because Resolution No. 68 has stated all the contents and expectations of members and businesses in the whole province about things and issues that are no longer suitable. In the soonest time, the Association will propose to the province the main goals of businesses and entrepreneurs towards the common development of the socio-economic sector”.

Resolution No. 68 is not only a “compass” for private economic development but also a call for the business community to change their thinking, enhance their internal strength to integrate and reach out. General Secretary To Lam affirmed: “We have every basis to firmly believe in a bright future for the country. With the heroic tradition, intelligence, bravery and unceasing aspiration of the entire nation, Vietnam will continue to move steadily on the path of rapid and sustainable development.
