The eSports World Cup 2025 is the largest global eSports tournament, organized by the Esports World Cup Foundation (EWCF), inheriting the Gamers8 tournament system. This year's event will be held at Riyadh Boulevard City - the largest entertainment complex in Saudi Arabia, with a capacity of up to tens of thousands of people and specially designed to serve international eSports and entertainment events.

eWC 2025 will feature more than 500 professional teams, representing more than 100 countries and territories, competing in 25 disciplines, including MOBA, FPS, Battle Royale, strategy and chess.

Notably, this year's tournament marks the first time chess has been included in the official competition system of eSports, both at the global level and at the eSports World Cup.
It is a cross between traditional sports and eSports, highlighting the evolution of this age-old intellectual game in a digital competitive environment.
