FAT will severely discipline individuals who make serious mistakes.
Following the unfortunate incident at the draw for the 2025 Southeast Asian U.19 Futsal Championship finals, where the Chinese flag was mistakenly displayed instead of the Vietnamese flag on the draw ballot, the Football Association of Thailand (FAT) has issued an official statement.

Madam Pang, President of FAT, called to apologize to the President of VFF.
Accordingly, Mr. Adisak Benjasiriwan - Vice President in charge of futsal and beach soccer of FAT, sent a sincere apology to the VFF and the people of Vietnam, affirming that FAT always respects all member countries and their national symbols.
Immediately, FAT established an investigation committee to investigate and discipline those responsible. FAT affirmed that the error originated from the organizers of the draw.
FAT President Nualphan Lamsam (Madam Pang) has sent official apology letters to both the VFF and the Southeast Asian Football Federation (AFF).
"It was an unintentional mistake, and I hope for forgiveness."
