J.League returns to Vietnamese audiences.

J.League returns to Vietnamese audiences.

"J.League is both new and familiar to Vietnamese football culture. With the same Asian football identity, HTV hopes that the J1 League copyright will contribute to helping Vietnamese football develop even more strongly, approaching the pinnacle of Asian football," said Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khoi - Head of the Sports Department of Ho Chi Minh City Television.

J.League has received great attention from Vietnamese audiences in the past. Some Vietnamese players have tried their hand at this tournament such as Le Cong Vinh, Nguyen Cong Phuong, Dang Van Lam.

The Japanese championship has a foreign player quota for Asian players. Chanathip Songkrasin and Theerathon Bunmathan have played very successfully in the top arena of the land of the rising sun. However, at the present time, the only Southeast Asian player playing in the J.League is Sandy Walsh (Indonesia) who plays for Yokohama Marinos.

J.League is also the cradle that produces many famous stars beyond Japan's borders such as Hidetoshi Nakata, Shunsuke Nakamura, Shinji Ono, Park Ji-sung... Contemporary stars of Japanese football such as Kaoru Mitoma (Brighton - Premier League), Daichi Kamada (Crystal Palace - Premier League), Ritsu Doan (SC Freiburg - Bundesliga), Takefusa Kubo (Real Sociedad - La Liga) also made their names in J.League.
