The birth of Long Son Cement was an important turning point, contributing to changing the face of the Vietnamese cement industry. In 2014, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province granted an investment certificate for the Long Son Cement Factory project in Dong Son ward, Bim Son town (now Bim Son ward). After just over two years of rapid construction, on November 1, 2016, the first batches of cement were shipped from the factory, laying the foundation for a Vietnamese brand with strong competitiveness.

Long Son Cement is produced on a modern technological line, the equipment system is directly imported from Germany, Switzerland, combined with advanced Japanese technology, ensuring a closed production process, international quality standards, and environmental friendliness. Raw materials for cement production are exploited from the Bim Son rocky mountains, Thanh Hoa - a place that is assessed by Soviet experts as the best raw material area for cement production in Vietnam. Thanks to that, Long Son cement products have superior properties: increasing the plasticity and durability of concrete over time, enhancing the ability to resist water and erosion, the cement strength always has a large residual grade, helping to save the amount of cement used. In particular, the low total R2O content helps eliminate the cause of corrosion and destruction of concrete structures and construction walls for projects.

Affirming its brand through product quality, Long Son Cement has quickly established its position in the market and is the optimal choice of many customers. In order to meet the increasing demand of the market, Long Son Cement Company continues to invest in production lines 2, 3 and 4, increasing the total capacity of the entire factory to more than 10.5 million tons/year. This is an impressive number, putting Long Son in the group of largest factories in Vietnam.
