(NLDO) – Today's gold price is at an all-time high for both SJC gold bars, gold rings and world prices, but is still forecast to increase.

At the end of the week, March 16, the price of SJC gold bars was listed by SJC, PNJ, DOJI businesses at around 94.3 million VND/tael for buying and 95.8 million VND/tael for selling, a total increase of 2.9 million VND/tael compared to the end of last week. The highest peak of the current gold bar price is around 96 million VND/tael at some units.

Also for 24K gold bars, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company listed the price of Rong Thang Long gold at 95 million VND/tael for buying and 96.6 million VND/tael for selling, 800,000 VND/tael higher than SJC gold bars. This is also a record price for gold bars up to this point.

Not only gold bars, the price of gold rings and 99.99 gold jewelry of all kinds also remained at historical peaks, around 94.2 million VND/tael for buying, 95.8 million VND/tael for selling, an increase of 3 million VND/tael compared to the end of last week.

The highest price of gold rings is up to 96.6 million VND/tael at some companies, far surpassing the price of SJC gold bars.

Domestic gold prices marked the second consecutive week of rapid increase, breaking all records. The price of gold rings increased even faster than SJC gold bars.

Gold prices have continuously reached new peaks in recent days.

In the international market, the price of gold also increased sharply today before closing at 2,985 USD/ounce, a total increase of 74 USD/ounce (equivalent to 2.3 million VND/tael compared to the end of last week). During the week, the price of gold reached its highest peak of 3,004 USD/ounce, the level predicted by domestic and international analysts at the beginning of the year.

Since the beginning of the year, domestic and international gold prices have increased by about 13%. Despite the continuous increase in gold prices, investors and analysts continue to maintain optimism about the trend of gold prices next week, according to the results of a survey by Kitco.

Specifically, in a survey on Wall Street, 15 analysts participated in the survey, of which 60% predicted that gold prices would continue to increase, 20% predicted a decrease, and the rest predicted that it would remain unchanged.

Similarly, in an online survey on Main Street, of the 262 experts who responded, 67% predicted that gold prices would continue to increase, only 18% said that gold prices would decrease, and the rest said that gold prices would remain stable.

SJC gold bar price increased for many consecutive days

According to analysts, next week there will be a lot of important economic information that is forecast to have a strong impact on gold prices. In addition, the US President's tariff policy has caused market concerns about the risk of trade tensions continuing to escalate, affecting global economic growth, even causing a recession for the US economy. When the demand for shelter increases, gold prices will benefit.

However, some other opinions say that gold prices have been increasing steadily in recent days, so short-term adjustment pressure is inevitable.
