Deserving the title of "super classic" of Vietnamese Futsal

Before entering this round, Thai Son Nam TP.HCM was leading the rankings with an unbeaten streak since the beginning of the tournament. Meanwhile, Sahako faced a big challenge in defending the championship title when it was 5 points behind Thai Son Nam TP.HCM. Only by defeating its opponent in a direct confrontation could the "Three-legged Crow" return to the race. That was also the reason why Sahako players proactively entered the match with a strong attacking style and placed high expectations on the two key new recruits, Brazilian pivo Italio Henrique Basilio and national player Nguyen Tran Duy.

They rose up strongly and hit the psychology of Sahako players with 2 goals by Ngoc Linh and Van Vu, respectively in the 14th and 20th minutes, equalizing 3-3 before the end of the first half.

In the second half, the match continued to witness a dramatic score chase when Pham Duc Hoa scored to help Thai Son Nam TP.HCM take the lead for the first time. But very quickly after that, Ngo Ngoc Son equalized the score 4-4 for Sahako, in a very quick counter-attack before defeating goalkeeper Nhu Y with an accurate left-footed low shot.

Sahako scored the winning goal to make it 5-5, regaining a valuable point.

The drama did not stop when just a few seconds later, Ly Dang Hung took advantage of the opportunity when goalkeeper Minh Quang advanced and made a mistake in handling the ball, quickly putting the ball into the empty goal, putting Thai Son Nam TP.HCM ahead 5-4. However, under the pressure of Sahako's attack, Thai Son Nam TP.HCM could not protect the result when the other team equalized 5-5, after a surprise shot from a very narrow angle by Luu Nhat Tien in the 30th minute. This was also the final score of the match.

In the match taking place at 3:00 p.m., Thai Son Bac won 1-0 in their away match at Sanvinest Khanh Hoa Stadium thanks to the only goal of Hoang Sy Linh. Three important points from their direct competitor helped Thai Son Bac rise to second place on the rankings.
