Yamal leads Barca stars to unfollow Carvajal

The anger from the El Clasico match on the night of October 26th seems to have not cooled down yet, when on social networks appeared evidence showing that many Barcelona stars simultaneously unfollowed Dani Carvajal.

According to the viral image, Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Gerard Martin all removed Carvajal from their Instagram follow list. Notably, Yamal is said to be the first to take action, starting the wave of "unfollowing" of Barca players.

The incident stemmed from the fiery end-of-season brawl at the Bernabeu after Real Madrid beat Barcelona 2-1, with Carvajal initiating a confrontation by approaching Yamal to question the youngster about his pre-match comments. Despite both playing for Spain, the veteran Real defender made a defiant gesture in the middle of the pitch, while several of his teammates joined in.

Surrounded by Real players, Yamal had to be pulled away by a teammate, but the atmosphere was hostile throughout the pitch. As Yamal approached the tunnel, Vinicius Jr. reappeared, continuing the exchange of words, causing the 18-year-old to lose his temper.

Sources from Spain said Yamal even invited Vinicius out to resolve the matter privately, causing the Brazilian striker to explode in anger and was only stopped by security personnel.

Journalist Roberto Gomez warned that the conflict between Carvajal and Yamal could cause serious internal divisions within the Spanish national team. In addition, Yamal was also criticized for "disappearing all season", needing to focus on football instead of the noise off the field.
