Lienvietpostbank and Vietnam Post affirm that the information on social networks in recent days about Tuyen Hoa District Post Office , Quang Binh Province is false rumor.
Previously, on May 8, information appeared on social networking sites that many people gathered at Tuyen Hoa Post Office (Dong Le town, Tuyen Hoa district, Quang Binh province) to withdraw savings even though the term had not yet come due because of false rumors that the post office was "bankrupt" and the unit's leaders "ran away with the money". This information affected the reputation and operations of the post office and transaction office.
Upon receiving the above information, Lienvietpostbank and Vietnam Post coordinated with the police and relevant units to verify that the above information was false and baseless. Mr. Dinh Quang Hieu, Director of the State Bank of Quang Binh province, also affirmed that the rumor about Tuyen Hoa District Post Office as reflected was false and people should not believe this rumor.
Lieutenant Colonel Bui Ngoc Chung, Chief of Tuyen Hoa District Police, said: "As soon as information spread about the post office's "bankruptcy", the district police invited a number of individuals who posted false information online to the headquarters to verify, and at the same time requested corrections, apologies and removal of the posted information."
Up to now, all activities at Tuyen Hoa Post Office are still taking place normally, all customer deposits are strictly controlled and safe.
