In the first 10 months of 2025, the whole country had nearly 266 thousand newly registered enterprises and returned to operation.

According to information from the General Statistics Office (Ministry of Finance), the business registration situation in the first ten months of 2025 recorded a significant growth, mainly thanks to the strong effectiveness of support policies for businesses, especially private enterprises.

In the first 10 months of 2025, the whole country had 255.9 thousand newly registered enterprises and returned to operation, an increase of 26.5% over the same period last year, equivalent to an average of 25.6 thousand enterprises entering the market per month. It is worth noting that the number of enterprises entering the market (255.9 thousand) is 1.3 times higher than the number of enterprises withdrawing from the market, which was 190.6 thousand enterprises, an increase of 10.1% over the same period. Specifically, the number of enterprises returning to operation is 92.9 thousand enterprises, an increase of 40.3% over the same period in 2024. In addition, the total registered capital added to the economy also increased sharply, reaching 5.2 million billion VND since the beginning of the year, an increase of 98.2% over the same period in 2024. Of which, the registered capital increase of operating enterprises alone reached nearly 3.6 million billion VND, an increase of 175.6%.

In October 2025 alone, nearly 18,000 new enterprises were established nationwide, up 6.8% over the previous month and 26.5% over the same period last year. Along with that, 11,600 more enterprises returned to operation, up 7.9% over the previous month and 33.9% over the same period in 2024. However, this month also recorded 6,065 enterprises registering to temporarily suspend business for a period of time, up 32.9% over the previous month and 11.2% over the same period last year; 6,771 enterprises stopped operating pending dissolution procedures, up 9.9% and 24.8%; and 4,536 enterprises completed dissolution procedures, up 8.5% and 128.3%.

Despite the generally positive signs, some industries still face challenges, such as processing and manufacturing enterprises having difficulty expanding their output markets, while wood enterprises have to find ways to develop the domestic market. On the contrary, enterprises have expressed confidence in the prospects of the real estate market.
