
“Trang Nguyen at 13” is an annual learning playground for junior high school students nationwide, jointly organized by the Vietnam Olympic Committee, Sports and Life Magazine, and Trang Nguyen Cultural and Educational Media Joint Stock Company.
The contest aims to foster intelligence, courage, confidence and integration ability of the new generation of Vietnamese students.

After nearly 3 months of taking place in localities across the country, the contest has attracted more than 100,000 contestants to participate online and in person. The 100 best contestants have been selected to enter the national final round, taking place on November 15, recorded and broadcast by Vietnam Television.
Speaking at the program, journalist Nguyen Huu Phuoc, Editor-in-Chief of Sports and Life Magazine, Head of the Organizing Committee of the contest, emphasized that this is not only a contest but also a journey for children to shine, freely express themselves and nurture in their hearts pride in knowledge.

Journalist Nguyen Huu Phuoc emphasized that to be present in today's final round, each contestant was a winner, a winner over themselves, overcoming each round with effort and a spirit of continuous learning.
Expressing his gratitude to teachers, parents and sponsors who have always accompanied and spread the spirit of learning and comprehensive personality development for students, journalist Nguyen Huu Phuoc expressed his belief that the contest will contribute to training confident, creative and aspirational citizens to serve the Fatherland.
“The most valuable thing that you have achieved is not only the results, but also the experience, maturity and belief in yourself. Remember, Trang Nguyen is not only in intelligence but also in heart, dreams and sharing. Each candidate is a seed of knowledge. We believe that from this small journey, they will blossom and become confident, creative and aspirational citizens to serve the Fatherland” – journalist Nguyen Huu Phuoc said.

At the program, students participated in the talk show “Confidence to shine”; listened to stories of overcoming difficulties, effective learning tips and shared feelings from predecessors, including contestants who won championships in previous seasons.
The children also participated in the interactive game "Quick-witted Champion" and enjoyed the musical performances "13-year-old Champion" and "Thousand Vietnamese Dreams".
After the exchange session, 100 contestants entered the national final round which was recorded by Vietnam Television. The competitions will be broadcast on VTV3 and VTV2 in December.
