11 countries have comprehensive strategic partnership with Vietnam

As of March 10, 2025, Vietnam has comprehensive strategic partnerships with 11 countries, including: China, the Russian Federation, India, South Korea, the United States, Japan, Australia, France, Malaysia, New Zealand and Indonesia.

On March 10, 2025, within the framework of General Secretary To Lam's visit to Indonesia, the two countries issued a "Joint Statement on Strengthening Bilateral Relations between Indonesia and Vietnam". As of March 10, 2025, Vietnam has Comprehensive Strategic Partnership relations with 11 countries. These are: China (2008), the Russian Federation (2012), India (2016), South Korea (2022), the United States (9-2023), Japan (11-2023), Australia (3-2024), France (10-2024), Malaysia (11-2024) and New Zealand (2-2025) and Indonesia (10-3-2025).
