A new landslide occurred on National Highway 49 at Km49+200 (Kim Quy Pass, Binh Dien commune), causing traffic congestion. Many points on National Highway 49 are also deeply flooded and have been barricaded to prohibit vehicle traffic. The La Son - Tuy Loan expressway at Km12+000-Km14+000 is blocked by landslides; authorities are diverting traffic via National Highway 1A from the La Son intersection.

The inner city road system was flooded to a depth of 0.3 - 0.8m, including routes such as To Huu, Van Tien Dung, Nguyen Cong Tru, Vo Thi Sau, Chu Van An, Phan Dinh Phung, and Dinh Tien Hoang… On these routes, people used boats to get around.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hue City has requested that relevant units promptly direct and implement flood response measures, avoiding any passive or unexpected situations; urgently deploy support for evacuation and relocation of people to safe areas; absolutely prohibit vehicles and individuals from traveling on rivers, lakes, and canals that do not meet safety standards or lack sufficient safety equipment; organize a review of the stockpiling of essential supplies, equipment, and goods, especially in areas frequently isolated during heavy rains and floods, and in remote areas; and educate people to properly stockpile supplies on-site to prepare for prolonged heavy rains and floods.
Forecasts indicate that from the morning of October 27th to 29th, Hue city will continue to experience heavy to very heavy rain, with exceptionally heavy rain in some mountainous areas; total rainfall will generally range from 250 to 500mm, with some areas exceeding 700mm.
