Displaying and introducing many new books at Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day

Mr. Trinh Huu Anh - Head of Press and Publishing Department, Department of Culture and Information of Ho Chi Minh City said that Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 will take place at many key locations such as Cong Truong Cong Xa Paris Street (from Nguyen Du to Le Duan), Ho Chi Minh City Book Street (Nguyen Van Binh Street, District 1) and simultaneously held in Thu Duc City and 21 districts in the city.

This year's Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day is associated with the messages: "Reading Culture - Connecting the Community", "Entering the Era of National Growth with Books" and "Reading, Enriching Knowledge, Nurturing Aspirations, Promoting Innovation and Creativity". This activity is part of a series of events held by the city to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.

According to a representative of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City, one of the highlights is the national opening ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of April 19, organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism).

During the 3 days of activities, 18 exchange and book introduction programs will take place at the Cong Xa Paris stage and Ho Chi Minh City Book Street.
