20 seasons of Golden Bells, the Golden Bells 'treat' the audience to new traditional songs

2025 marks the 20th season of the Golden Bell Awards. On this occasion, generations of Golden Bells have continuously released new traditional music videos to 'treat' the audience.

The Golden Bell of Traditional Opera is an annual award of Ho Chi Minh City Television, starting in 2006 with the original name of Traditional Opera Television Star .

20 seasons are 20 times the Golden Bell of Traditional Opera has provided the city in particular and the country in general with young, promising voices, adding to the reformed opera village a quality successor force, the first factor of which is the voice.

On this occasion, many Golden Bells collaborated to release traditional music videos, both to join in the atmosphere of welcoming the 20th anniversary of Golden Bells and to show the audience the pride of the singers who have been screened and selected each year.

2017 Golden Bell of Traditional Music Nguyen Van Khoi collaborated with 2023 Golden Bell Nhu Y to release two MVs Ha Thuong and Dep Tinh Que Huong .

It can be said that Nguyen Van Khoi and Nhu Y are two beautiful singers among the contestants who won the Golden Bell award in previous seasons. Both contestants when receiving the Golden Bell award received high consensus from the judges and the audience.

Golden Bell 2015 Nguyen Thanh Toan and Golden Bell 2018 Lam Thi Kim Cuong released the MV of the traditional song "Em ve keo troi mua" .

After the Golden Bell award, Nguyen Thanh Toan is now considered a prominent face of Tran Huu Trang Opera House with many character roles. Meanwhile, Lam Thi Kim Cuong, right in the final round of the Golden Bell ranking that year, made a strong impression when she dared to choose the comedy role of Cam (excerpt from Tam Cam ) to show her talent.

Brand new Golden Bell Le Hoang Nghi (2024) also managed to release a music video with the folk melody of the Ferry . In addition, he also collaborated with Golden Bell 2022 Duong Thi Diem (stage name Ngoc Diem) to release the MV of the traditional song Hoa tim bang lang .

Golden Bell Changes Life

Nguyen Van Khoi was originally an employee working at a court in Kien Giang province (now An Giang). He had a good voice and a passion for singing, so he tried his hand at the Golden Bell of Traditional Opera , considering it a competition.

Unexpectedly, Khoi won the prestigious golden bell. From then on, he became a professional artist at Tran Huu Trang Opera House.

Khoi confided to Tuoi Tre Online : "Winning the Golden Bell was a milestone that dramatically changed my life. I still remember the whole month of practicing for the final ranking, although the time was short, to me it was like a big class.

Because I have the opportunity to interact with famous and talented artists, they have given me valuable experiences and pointed out my strengths and weaknesses so that I can develop and overcome them.

All of that helped me grow up very quickly and fostered in me a love of art and the dream of becoming a reformed artist."

After winning the grand prize, Le Hoang Nghi joined the Vam Co Cai Luong Art Troupe (formerly Long An Cai Luong Troupe).

The young man expressed that the Golden Bell Award is an important milestone to mark Le Hoang Nghi's name with the audience who love Cai Luong. It is a "guarantee" of quality for him to gradually realize his dream of becoming a Cai Luong artist.

He shared with the contestants participating in this year's competition: "During the month of training for the final ranking, don't consider it as a time to just compete, but try to take advantage of it to accumulate professional lessons.
