Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duy Canh, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of Battalion 355, said that based on the actual situation of the unit, in recent times, the Party Committee and Battalion Command have chosen and effectively implemented the model of "3 no's, 3 think's" ("3 no's": No negative thoughts, no negative words, no negative actions; "3 think's": Think before speaking, writing; think before acting; think before deciding) in building discipline, training discipline, and ensuring safety. The unit identified this as one of the fundamental solutions, aiming to create changes in all aspects of work.

Evaluating the results of the “3 no, 3 think” model, Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Thien, Battalion Commander of Battalion 355, affirmed that after two years of implementation, Battalion 355 has achieved encouraging results. Discipline and regulations have been strictly and consistently maintained; weak points have been gradually overcome; the rate of common disciplinary violations has decreased by less than 0.15% compared to before implementation, no serious disciplinary actions have occurred, and there have been no desertions or illegal absences of new soldiers.

That result is truly a strong motivation in improving the overall quality and combat strength, contributing significantly to the successful implementation of the unit's political tasks. Up to now, the building of a regular order, compliance with State laws, military discipline, and ensuring safety of Battalion 355 has been significantly improved. Through inspections by the Navy and Naval Region 3, the Battalion has been assessed to have successfully completed the task of managing and training new soldiers.

The above results were achieved thanks to the Party Committee and the command of Battalion 355 having strengthened leadership and direction in education work, raising awareness and responsibility for officers and soldiers in implementing the model of "3 no, 3 think". Party committees and commanders of subordinate units regularly organize dissemination and education of soldiers about the purpose, requirements, content, and meaning, making soldiers clearly aware that implementing the model is to build a military cultural environment and build the personality of revolutionary soldiers.

In addition, each officer and soldier must always maintain the qualities, character and demeanor of a soldier, not think or say negative words, not act negatively, causing bad influence on themselves, their teammates and the unit; must be self-aware of their words. When looking at a problem, try to focus on the good and positive things.

Sergeant Le Van Long, Squad Leader of Squad 53 (Platoon 14, Company 4) said: "Implementing the model of "3 no, 3 think" helps us complete our assigned tasks well, continuing the nature and fine traditions of the Army and the noble qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers - the Navy soldiers of the new era".

Commander of Battalion 355 met and encouraged new soldiers.

To make the model highly effective, Battalion 355 flexibly and synchronously applies many forms andeducational measures, thoroughly and extensively imbues all subjects, focusing on new soldiers; closely combining education with management and discipline training; organizing emulation movements, promoting learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style and the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new period, choosing to build model units, good and creative practices to replicate throughout the Battalion.

The unit promotes the exemplary role of cadres and party members in implementing the model of "3 no's, 3 think's". With the motto "superiors set an example for subordinates, commanders set an example for the unit, party members set an example for the masses", the Party Committee and the Battalion Command have promoted the role, responsibility, pioneering spirit, and exemplary role of cadres at all levels, especially cadres in charge, platoon cadres, and those who directly manage and train new soldiers in implementing "3 no's, 3 think's". Company, platoon, and squad leaders "eat, live, work, and play together" with soldiers to grasp their thoughts and aspirations and promptly resolve their problems.

Along with that, the Battalion promoted propaganda activities, promoted the effectiveness of the internal radio system, billboards, posters and theatrical activities, in order to propagate, orient and raise awareness of the army about the law, discipline and regularity, thereby making the army always think and act positively. Maintain the quality of Law Day. Implement well the model of "One law per week", "One legal question per day" and the activities of the Military Psychological and Legal Counseling Group.

Thanks to the good work of disseminating and educating the law, the awareness and responsibility of officers and soldiers have changed significantly. For many years, Battalion 355 has not had any serious disciplinary violations.
