3 years, exported over 272,000 tons of agricultural, forestry and fishery products

Implementing Project No. 03-DA/TU, dated September 9, 2021 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on agricultural development, promoting product consumption associated with new rural construction in the period of 2021-2025, Hoa Binh province has achieved many results in trade promotion and expanding agricultural export markets.

Cage fish farming facilities on Hoa Binh Lake have developed effectively, increasing people's income.

According to the report, from 2022 to present, the whole province has exported 272,077 tons of agricultural, forestry and fishery products with a total value of 3,266.85 billion VND. Currently, there are 21 enterprises, cooperatives and cooperative groups in the province with products exported to international markets, including 15 agricultural establishments and 6 forestry establishments.

The main export markets include: China, Korea, Japan, the US, Taiwan, Canada and countries in the European Union (EU). Some key product groups are highly appreciated for their quality and stable output, including: Cao Phong oranges, Tan Lac red grapefruit, Da River fish, processed bamboo shoots, medicinal herbs...

Promoting agricultural product consumption is one of the main pillars of Project No. 03-DA/TU, in addition to the goal of developing commodity agriculture according to the value chain, applying high technology, promoting mechanization, regional linkage and building brands of typical products of the province. The increase in agricultural product exports not only affirms the effectiveness of the Project implementation but also opens up space for sustainable development for the agricultural sector of Hoa Binh province in the coming period.
