4 districts of Hanoi meet advanced new rural standards

Specifically, 15/18 districts and towns in the city have met new rural standards, including the following localities: Dan Phuong, Dong Anh, Thanh Tri, Hoai Duc, Quoc Oai, Gia Lam, Thach That, Thuong Tin, Thanh Oai, Phuc Tho, Soc Son, Phu Xuyen, Chuong My, Me Linh and Son Tay town.

For the remaining 3 districts, including Ung Hoa district, the Hanoi New Rural Area Coordination Office has organized a District Inspection Team to propose recognition of the district as meeting new rural standards in 2022. Departments and branches have submitted an inspection report for Ung Hoa district that meets the conditions to the Hanoi People's Committee to submit to the Prime Minister for recognition as meeting new rural standards in 2022.

Currently, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi city is collecting opinions on people's satisfaction with the results of new rural construction in Ung Hoa district according to the provisions of Instruction No. 90/HD-MTTW-BTT dated September 20, 2022 of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front before completing the dossier to submit to the Central Appraisal Council.

In My Duc district, the conditions according to regulations have basically been met. My Duc district is currently completing the documents to submit to the Hanoi People's Committee according to regulations.

For Ba Vi district, the Hanoi New Rural Area Coordination Office organized an inspection team for Ba Vi district to propose recognition of the district as meeting new rural standards in 2022. At the same time, it advised the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to request departments and branches to have an inspection report for Ba Vi district and requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front to collect people's opinions to propose recognition of Ba Vi district as meeting new rural standards in 2022 according to regulations.

Nguyen Van Chi, Deputy Chief of the Standing Office of the Hanoi New Rural Area Coordination Office, said that through the results of the assessment of advanced new rural communes and model new rural communes in 2022, there are 4 districts: Dan Phuong, Gia Lam, Dong Anh, Thanh Tri that are qualified to complete the dossier to request the Prime Minister to recognize the district as meeting advanced new rural standards.

In addition, the City has 48 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, 5 communes meeting model new rural standards. Based on the requests of districts and towns, the Office has so far organized an appraisal team to evaluate 40 communes that are eligible to submit to the City Council for recognition as meeting advanced new rural standards in 2022.

In addition, the City's New Rural Appraisal Team has appraised 12 communes that have been proposed for recognition as model new rural communes in 2022. The results show that 12 communes are eligible to be submitted to the City's New Rural Appraisal Council for consideration and to the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for recognition.

For 3 communes of districts: Dan Phuong, Thuong Tin, Thach That are continuing to complete the dossier, the City's New Rural Appraisal Team will conduct the appraisal in the first quarter of 2023. It is expected that all 15 communes will meet the model new rural standards in 2022, achieving the assigned target./.
